Important Notes on the DIFL 2016-17 Registration Process

Please read through these brief guidelines before starting the registration process.

  • Priority Registration is for players whose parents commit to a primary Team Volunteer role for the 2015-16 season. These roles include only Coach and Manager. Volunteer positions are available for the divisions for which you have registered your child or children. They are alotted on a first-come-first-served basis. You will be required to read through the Job Description (available once you select the volunteer role of choice) first and then accept the Volunteer Consent form online before completing registration.
  • General Registration is given on a first-come-first-served basis and parents are not required to volunteer. However, if there are open Team Volunteer positions available, parents will be able to register to volunteer during the General Registration process as well.
  • If a division fills up during the registration process, players will be added to the Waitlist for that division. The waitlisted players are alotted space on a team based on their position on the wait list. No exceptions. (Please see note 4 below.)
  • The system asks first and foremost for your Primary Contact Information. This is the primary e-mail ID and mobile phone number that you wish DIFL to use to contact you. PLEASE NOTE: DIFL will send the vast majority of its communications via e-mail and we expect a turn-around within 24-hours. Please provide the e-mail ID which you will check regularly during the season to ensure you will not miss out on important information. (This includes the notification that a waitlisted player has been alotted a slot on a team. If we do not receive a response within 24 hours, we will move to the next waitlisted player.)
  • After successful registration, you will receive an e-mail with multiple attachments to your Primary Contact e-mail ID. PLEASE CHECK YOUR JUNK/SPAM FOLDER if you do not receive it within 10 minutes. If you still have not received this e-mail, please contact immediately to let us know. This e-mail will outline all of the steps you need to complete the registration.
